Troilus and Cressida in San Francisco

About

A never-ending war that no one wants. Military leaders more interested in macho posturing than diplomatic solutions. In Shakespeare's cynical tragicomedy, he takes us into the nitty-gritty daily grind of an unpopular war, explores how gender roles are performed in wartime, and questions the concepts of heroism and loyalty in an age where morals are deeply malleable. Audiences can catch this production through intimate professional performances in the Rueff at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater, Student Matinees, or on a two-week tour to schools and community sites.
