About
Shakespeare opens Act 4 of The Winter's Tale with a monologue from Time, recapping the sixteen years that pass between Acts 3 and 4. In 16 Winters, University of Iowa playwriting alum Mary Hamilton imagines the journey each character takes during that enchanted gap. The Department of Theatre Arts stages it in Iowa City from November 6 to 12, 2026.
