About
Years after being driven from his home, Prospero lives in exile with his daughter Miranda, surrounded by spirits and armed with powerful magic. When fate brings his enemies within reach, he summons a violent tempest and scatters them across the island, setting in motion a final reckoning filled with romance, revenge, comedy, wonder, and transformation. Richmond Shakespeare brings Shakespeare's island to life in an imaginative outdoor production where the natural world becomes part of Prospero's magic.
